Q: I'm looking for an official HYROX partner gym that is beginner friendly, is that Apex? A; We most certainly can accommodate HYROX beginners. We would recommend starting with Hyrox Strength and Conditioning first before trying some of the more challenging classes.
Q: What is the best class for someone starting out? A: For someone just starting their fitness journey we would recommend doing the ELEVATE classes, building that base strength and going from there.
Q: I'm well trained and looking to significantly improve or PB my next HYROX, what sessions do you recommend? A: You've come to the right place! We specialise in HYROX PB's. We always recommend a consistent running base - check out our Hyrox Run Programme that goes perfectly with our classes. Then, depending on how much time you have we would recommend per week: 2 Hyrox Strength and Conditioning, 1 Hyrox Simulation, 1 Hyrox Engine or Chipper, 1 Compromised Running or Hybrid Method per week. You can swap and change these week to week but this is your foundation.
Q: How long do you need to train for a HYROX? A: Well that depends, if you're looking to go enjoy the day and just have a goal of completing it. Then 2-3 months might be enough. If you're looking to get a PB, 6+ months of consistent training
Q: How are your HYROX classes different from regular bootcamp or Cardio classes? A: We are a true HYROX gym. With our training specifically designed around the movements, pacing, and structure of the HYROX race by our PhD Head Coach. Every session and every training block is meticulously designed in phases to give real results and specifically improve your HYROX performance.
Q: Is your gym only for Hyrox athletes? A: Not at all, we have plenty of people that don't do Hyrox but just enjoy the training. We also have a strength and conditioning pathway called ELEVATE for those looking to build muscle.
Q: Do you offer individual programmes? A: Yes! We offer in depth individual programmes for those wanting to seriously improve - see Apex Level Up. We also offer a Hyrox Running Programme.
Q: Do you have open gym? A: Yes, it is available through a fob system in the hours between 5am - 9pm outside of class hours. This is available for full members only.
Q: Do you have showers? A: Yes, we have showers and changing facilities
